Sunshine is definitely the best remedy for the frigid winters that blow through Northeast Ohio, and Taylor’s bride Emily is brighter and warmer than the sun! Their wedding day was a frosty one, but our memories of Emily and Taylor’s ceaseless joy that day leave us feeling warm and cozy on the inside.

When we arrived to Emily’s North Olmsted hotel room to greet her, we were touched by the sight of her mother, future mother-in-law, and stepmother–all in a row, glowing with pride and excitement for Emily. As we began to photograph all the details of the day–the invitation that her aunt had carefully tucked into a shadowbox; the cathedral veil that a relative had hand-beaded and embroidered; Taylor’s little handwritten love letter in the leathery vow booklet–we could sense the value each of the personalized items carried innately. Once makeup artist Gina Whisenhunt and hairstylist Aimee Chernovsky added the finishing touches to Emily’s wedding day look, we scurried into the sunlight for a photo with the bride and her bubbly and bright bridal party.

We then swung around to pick up Taylor for the first look at Huntington Beach. That was certainly the coldest moment of the day, as we all stood along the Lake Erie shoreline, but it was also the sweetest as we witnessed the first interactions between Emily and Taylor on the biggest day of their lives. They were giddy, and, consequently, so were we!

The bride and groom had the chance to warm up on the bus as we made our way to the cozy covered bridge in Olmsted Falls, where we had the chance to line up the bridal party together for photos in their blue attire. We then headed further into the park with Emily and Taylor for some more autumn views before making our way to the ceremony at the Westside Irish American Club, which was all decorated in Snow White and frosty blue for the reception.

It was fun to see such giddy anticipation in Emily and Taylor’s eyes as they waited to pronounce their wedding vows to each other during the ceremony.

TKO Entertainment got the party started and kept the dance floor packed all night. Since Emily and Taylor have known each other and been part of each other’s family for so long, the speeches were pretty hilarious. The first dance was really sweet, and when Emily and Taylor accidentally conked noses, they didn’t seem to mind and got right back to smiling.

They make such a warm, kind, and strong couple! We can’t wait to see where life takes them and we wish that their marriage will be full of all the patience, love, and kindness that they shared with each other and the world on their wedding day!
